Who is this guy?

My passion is people and pixels. My friends gave me the nickname Positive Mike because I always seem to be positive even in the hard times. I appreciate a good digital experience whether it's an app, an email, or a website. I take joy in seeing a product look spectacular even if people don't realize the journey it took to get that final amazing look. My journey started as a production artist fresh out of college. I've grown into a visual designer and a web designer with experience working in-house for large international companies.

When not designing, I enjoy traveling and live music. There is nothing like a road trip with good friends. During these Covid-19 times, I very much appreciate video chats with family, playing cards online with friends, and seeing my musical friends live-stream their concerts.
